It Just Is...

Greetings my gentle readers and listeners to another week’s installment of the “Be Yourself, Often” blog.  Welcome to December 2012!!That time in the week when can look to the days that were with love and nostalgia, fear and apprehension and realize that we made it through the whole crazy thing whole. As usual, the reflections on this blog will be provided in my Tuesday night’s radio show on WULC entitled “Prescribing Spiritual H.O.P.E.”, which is live at 9pm Eastern Time and radio archived at http://www.spreaker.com/show/tuesday_prescribing_spiritual_hope

Through the course of the week as illustrated above there have been moments that were dichotomous in nature for all of us. From the thrill of victory to the agony of defeat, it just is. Those are three very powerful words that encapsulate so very much. When I heard the expression earlier, it resonated so intensely with myself as transcending far more than the simple planes that we know and in fact cross multiple theories and axis. So much in fact, there will be a three part series on this, with Christmas falling on a Tuesday, so the 4th and 11th will be on the trilogy and the 18th will be my Christmas message. There will also be a special message I am hoping on December 21st here and on the air simultaneously, just to help validate the fact we are all still alive on that date and now lets move ahead and help ourselves help each other and provide and ensure safe travels, which the message of unity will tie into the Christmas message. It Just Is.

It Just Is demonstrates the essential ideal perfection of everything. It helps and empowers an individual (if they can embrace this simple concept) that all situations that present themselves, are exactly that. The chance to do something, feel something or be something is exactly right for the situation. The individuals and situations that are on their own vectors inherently cross our vectors all of the time. If one stops and reflects in a mindful and meditative way through a filter and prism of positivity… that is absolutely mind blowing and liberating, all in the same time. As mentioned before however, there are too many “isms” out there and sadly, especially in December where people are so fixated on other aspects that this wonderful gift of healing and love and light may be missed.

My friends, this is truly root cause analysis embedded within the exercise of mindfulness. Why are things here and why did they cross my path and why do I need these learnings and why have I been chosen and what can I give to this situation and scenario? As with most things that are truly opening to the mind and heart and Spirit, this generates more questions than answers. Embrace that.

It Just Is will allow us to have quite a bit of freedom when embraced as it allows us to believe that through the topographical map of life, there will be hills and valleys, dryness and watershed, desert and lakes. Even that simple statement allows us to embrace the fact of our uniqueness. That uniqueness is also embedded in our genetic codes and the opportunities afforded to us. That uniqueness means we all have a very special gift and the next wonderful outcome driven goal is to find and embrace it and then share that gift to the betterment of others. For once a person engages in the embrace of giving away their gifts of the moment with the altruistic desire to educate and advance others… in the long run they themselves advance. Incredible isnt it? It Just Is.

To step away, embrace the moment and beginning to feel these insights means one may have to step away from the toxicity of the “isms”, of which narcissism and consumerism  are 2 powerful detractors. Express and find the whole person that you are, which often can be done by stepping back to be the wonderment of a child and being alive and having fun in the moment. Basically, to give yourself permission finally to be yourself, often.

The Hypothesized “Z-Prime Factor” to the Fourth POWER

Greetings my gentle readers to another week’s installment of the “Be Yourself, Often” blog. This is that time where we are able to step back, reflect, dissect, analyze and with strength and fortitude under the auspices of learning discuss the moments that have been what we called the week that was. To look at the positives and negatives that used a time that shall never come again and at the expense of that valuable resource, assess the spirit and power to learn and walk away in a way that begets more positives.
Last week we talked about co-operation and the synergistic fruits of the moments and the Free Will Covenant that we enjoy to address the situations from a positive or negative light and that synergy reflects upon “ To co-operate is to appreciate and respect the contributions and gifts of others. To give them a say and chance in as balanced of a forum as you are able. To active versus passively listen. To take only what you need and pass the plate along. To be open and receptive and wanting to manifest using what you have so as to actively thrive. That you can express yourself, be open versus absorbing the toxicities having a desire goal and endpoint in mind that is a summation of mainly the small gifts and miracles that exist in the day to day moments and actively offer to share them not just with yourself, but with others and those ideas are respected. To play nicely in the sandbox and be a kid and laugh. All these are in part recipes for better mental health which I might go into more in depth in later weeks. Suffice to say.. To give openly, expecting nothing in return but to thrive”
There is much that we can do and the essential elements that compose our being are our senses, our spirit and the incredible thing that is our humanity. Humanity is what allows us the skill sets to be able to advance in a positive or negative way and go beyond the basic elements that we are as living beings. It has been stated and encapsulated before that there are many living things on earth, and if we were to look beyond the standard X and Y axis of the graph, there is a Z axis that crosses all points. Those points are the intersection of so many miracles that come together and LIFE exists in all. That is the infinite gift of person, plant, animal, vegetation and mineral.
However, from a humanities perspective when we integrate all of these facets together, there is something even more incredible and a spiritus we can only begin to intuit. This represents beyond a medical, psychological or even bio psychosocial model. It represents the infinite blessings and gifts that we enjoy and is the true expression of the Free Will Covenant. This may be called the “Z- Prime” factor and transcends all levels of knowledge, science, and into the amorphic world of theory. Sort of like the conceptualizations that Pluto had to exist by virtue of planetary variations, even before it was seen, or the “God Particle”, one can hypothesize and validate the Z-Prime factor. Why? This represents the invisible lines and shadows that were and are and how everything is exactly as meant to be. Good or bad, happy or sad, it is about a Belief that all is meant to be and even through the Valley of the Shadow of Death (and taxes), things and events transpire that are exactly right, and as meant to be.
The invisible lines and shadows beget the doors that open if we have the strength, fortitude and belief to open them. Having a set rigid belief in all things material, in my experience, do NOT open these doors. There is and can be construed to be a touch of the magickal in these opportunities. There is no room for that in the big, busy. Ego-driven world of stuff that we are sucked into. These are the X and Y axis and deadens the possibility of looking from an oblique angle and seeing this wonderful opportunity that DOES exist for all. Why BMW (biatch, moan, whine) when something happens and lament your existence when you could (and do) have the choice to prevent it happening again, learn from it and potentially even be a hero, which is taking the challenges that DO happen and use them to help others help themselves and prevent it happening to them.
How to achieve and see the Z-Prime axis? Avoiding filling our vase with ego, stuff and items allows room for this world. This world enhances healing, positivity and across time will reap the positives of a spirit based life. It may open up neural pathways then rejuvenate and heal and the oblique angle allows us to hear colors and see sounds. Be open, use your imagination, be kind, reciprocate in kindness wherever possible, remove hostilities, avoid getting “bent” about things and listen well and play well. Avoiding the drama that doesn’t need to be and embracing the spirit, the humanity and the universe.
For I do believe across time that we can learn from each other and these gifts will snowball and avalanche in a positive way. Be kind and be a kid at heart and play in the sandbox and imagine. Dream. Don’t look for the Z-Prime factor…be it and be yourself, often.

Having a Love Affair with Life

Greetings my gentle readers to the beginning of August 2012 and another episode of the “Be Yourself, Often” blog. Those moments that offer hopefully a different slant on the moments and challenges and opportunities that we have chosen to call our life in the here and now. Reflection on the mindfulness and miracles of the moments, interspersed with the challenges and evils that perpetrate and demonstrate all to clearly.

We touched on that concept last week as we looked at the light of good that exists and burns within all of us. But the fact that we at time are paralyzed in actualities or conceptually by what we imagine to be real and cant touch our dreams in the moment. That is such a sad place to be. Always running like a hamster on a treadmill, with nothing at the end of day and days but sadness and destitution. To be infused with drugs, alcohol or other vices that have allowed you to escape life on lifes term… you find that the life and gift that you have been given has been lost. Items that allow one escapism are drugs, Internet, alcohol, pornography, sex, shopping and almost anything else in excess that lights up dopamine, the pleasure reward homes. In fact the river of years have brought only numbness and tears and frustrations, with small leveraged wins along the way, but many societal positions and trappings and stuff that you are now having to consider walking away from. And considering it’s a normal neurotransmitter/hormone…you are just a big hormonal mess.

And why is that? Why have all of theses material items not brought you the joy and happiness as the commercials assured you they would? Heck, your neighbour seemed so happy and to have everything. What is wrong with me, again that I get the short end of the stick? Per the title of an old book for the 1970’s, why do you always draw the Black Marble?

This is about idolatry and wanting and the difference between wants and needs and entitlements. What you thought should be your due, you did get (sometimes) but came at such a heavy price, not unlike the $200 that was obtained through “The Monkey’s Paw”. Someone else had, you were sold a bill of sale and expected it delivered to you.

But because it wasn’t worth the price or as shiny as your mind set it out to be (See blog from July 1st on Polishing the Brass Ring of Uniqueness) you got mad. Real mad. Madness infused every part, which causes one to not be able to appreciate the moments that are here and being squandered away.

Sad and almost everyone reading this will be able to know and identify someone they know that this relates to, correct? Want to rectify? Love and live the moment and love truly and totally is an intelligent concern for others. Others includes not just humans, but all living things like people, plants, animals, crystals..All of which that have the Spiritus residing within them.

Loving life through all your affairs is the best way to captures the depth and breadth of gifts that abound all around us. Try it on, and see what really there is when you take the time and invest in yourself. The dividends might just be that you can finally, at ease, be yourself, often.
